My Bachelorette Partay

Thanks to some of my nearest and dearest ladies I had an amazing bachelorette party! First stop Mollie Fontaine's. Couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to go. If you haven't been GO! If you are looking for a fun girls night out.. go! It is super cute and the food/drinks are divine. Next the group grew smaller as we headed downtown for a little hanging out and later dancing. Perfect night with my gal pals! Thank you ladies for my most favorite girls night ever.

The time I saw a Beatle

May 25 was a great day for many reasons.. 1 our dear friends Katelyn and Chase got married!! Two the Grizz played their first home game against the Spurs in the western conference finals.. sadly we lost. BUT still a very big moment for Memphis basketball. AND Three.. my sweet friend Andrea invited Zachary and I to go see Sir Paul McCartney in concert at the FedEx Forum. 

May 26 was a great day. Zachary, Andrea, Amy and I go to see Sir Paul McCartney live in concert. Our seats were in a lower level suite. This was Zack's first time to sit in a box and I would say it was QUITE an experience.

PAUL WAS AMAZING. He played 40 songs for 3 straight hours without stopping. The man is in his 70's and can still rock and roll like a champ and is still the definition of cool. Such an incredible experience that we will never forget.

Thank you Andrea for inviting us to this awesome night. I had a blast dancing the night away with you two.

Revision Church Shower

Zachary and I attend Revision Church in Olive Branch.. go check it out. Our Revision church family has truly become our dearest friends and our family. We meet in Olive Branch high school at 10:00 every Sunday. Please join us. Well these fabulous people who we love so dearly threw us a shower one Sunday night after community groups. Z and I were over joyed by all of the love and support these people have shown us. At the shower many sweet ladies prepared yummy yummy desserts and coffee punch (amen). If you haven't tried coffee punch then you haven't lived. Two thing we learned at this shower.. gift cards are the bomb and never underestimate how excited you can get over towels.

Our First Shower

My oh my are showers fun!! The gifts are amazing but its being surrounded by some of the people you love most in the world that makes it so so special. Our first shower was thrown by Karin and Lenny Jones. When I was 17 I started nannying Karin's 3 precious girls (you would know them as my Siano girls). This family has been so welcoming, supportive, and  loving for the past 7 years. I truly consider them family. After Z and I became engaged they approached us about throwing us a couples shower and of course we were pumped! When I say it was one of my most favorite days ever I mean it. We had a ball!

 The wonderful hosts! The food was incredible!! Yum yum yumm..

Mary Beth is my youngest Siano girl. She made the best little hostess. We love you MB!

Of course we made time to watch the grizz game. Once we realized where the men had gone we all piled on the couches and cheered them on. It was a great grizz win!

Thank you everyone who was able to come celebrate with us and a special thank you to Karin and Lenny for taking such great care of us. Having our first shower not only made things more real but made us even more excited about our wedding day!!!! Only 64 days to go!!

Hey! Long time no see.

Once upon a time,

 there was a girl who had a blog. She had every intention of keeping up with it until... 

the real world happened. 

My apologizes for the long absence but lots has happened lately. Let me tell you about some of it..

1. Elinor got married!

Isn't she gorgeous?! So happy for the Fews. 

2. My 3rd Thanksgiving with with the Holcombs.

We spent the day with Zack's sweet family and lots of yummy food. We even were able to Facetime with my parents in Colorado Springs. Praise Jesus for Facetime. It is crazy to think that next year Zachary and I will be married for not only thanksgiving but for every holiday every day! Ahhh so fun.

3. I finished student teaching.

My last placement was a group of ALL boy second graders and an incredible mentor teacher. So thankful for such a fun and uplifting last few months of college. 

4. I GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE

Yes my friends, I am finally an alum of the University of Memphis.

5. I turned 24. Happy Birthday to me!

Zachary was working so I had dinner with the fam and then I went to see 3 of my favorite humans ever. I started nannying the Siano girls when I was 17 and still adore now.

6. Christmas.

i LOVE Christmas. This was the first time Zachary and I have spent Christmas and my birthday in the same region, state, city, and even better room! To make things even better my Mama was able to be here. Sadly my Dad had to stay in Colorado but we were able to have our Anderson Christmas before he left. Overall a very merry Christmas!

7. I found MY wedding dress at Lows

I will give you 3 clues.

It is a dress.

It isn't black. (sorry to disappoint)

And.... It is perfect!!

8. I started back at Hutchison!

I am a PreK teacher to 11 sweet sweet girls with an awesome lead teacher Nicole.

I also have been named the assistant director of the after school program SPARK.

So beyond blessed!

9. Put the deposit down on our wedding flowers!

They are going to be GORGEOUS. If you ever need flowers for an event go see Gina at Holliday Flowers. You will thank me later.

She even sent me home with this beauty! 

10. Lots and lots of other happy moments like this one.

I had fun catching up with you. We will chat soon! Soon being the key word. :)
