everybody dance now

So today marks fifteen.. did you get that?... 15 days until I am Zachary's bride!!!! Eeeekkkkkk. :) Today I went by hutch and filled out my emergency contact form with my new information and I had to do it twice because I kept putting Allyse Anderson. (I'm going to have to work on the whole new name thing.) Luckily I am taking Anderson as my middle name so I didn't mess that up too badly. I also was able to put my status as MARRIED and husband next to Z's name! Eeek ekkkkkk eeeeeekkkkk!

So, in honor of all of the excitement of 15 days until marriage I would like to take a moment to dance.

My Wedding Dress

My wedding dress.
I cant explain how much I adore it, how beautiful it is, and how perfect it is for me.
I cant wait to see the look on my mama and daddy's faces when they see me in it for the first time.
I cant wait to see my Zachary look at me in my dress for the first time.
Typing this now I already have tears in my eyes because I am so full of joy and excitement.
Thank you Lord for blessing me in so many ways. Thank you Jesus for Zachary.

What a friendly number

thirty nine days... 3nine days... One less than 40 days.. thirty9 days... ten + ten + 10 + nine days...

39 DAYS until the wedding. 39 what a friendly number you are.

ps. Today was my last full school day with my sweet sweet PK girls and teaching with my dear friend Nicole. So thankful to spend my work days with so many people I love. 

God is SO GOOD!

Tomorrow is a BIG day for me and my future family. I cant tell you much about what is happening but this opportunity is HUGE! The Lord is so so good! He has blessed me in so many ways and has been so faithful to answer prayers. No matter what happens tomorrow He is sovereign and in total control. Praise Jesus!

Sickly but productive weekend

Starting Friday: I woke up with a sore throat and coughing. No fun. After leaving work I took it easy for the rest of the night besides a quick trip to Goodwill. My trip was worth it. I found some awesome candles stick holders for cheep cheep. Score for wedding decor. I have a few pictures I am basing my ideas off of for reception tables so I will be collecting things from here on out.

Saturday: I wasn't feeling well but it was such a beautiful day Z and I got out for a little bit. Coffee date/suit shopping with the Brewers and we ordered our WEDDING INVITATIONS. Wheww.. for a sickly girl that was a short but full afternoon. We found our wedding invitations off of Etsy. I'm convinced you could find anything on Etsy. The rest of Saturday was spent in the bed mindlessly watching Parks and Rec.

Sunday: Besides a minor med turned CVS visit for meds, I have been in bed ALL day. Do not let that fool you my friends. From this bed and this laptop I started and completed most of our wedding website. Super fun and super time consuming. I also played around with some ideas for save the dates. It is crazy to think within the next couple of weeks we need to send them out.

It's sad how happy I get while making lists. But it is crazy how happy I get when I am able to cross things off of a list. Since the last time I updated you on wedding plans this was my lists of to dos and you can see what has been conquered. Lots of details have changed since that post but I will tell you more about that later. As for now have a good night!

Teachers 2 favorite words

Snow day!

I woke up having to go into work which was a little disappointing. Then at carpool parents kept asking if we were closing early but we hadn't heard anything. And then the email came. Hallelujah  School is getting out early. Now I am home sitting by the fire with my fiance! Sounds like a perfect afternoon.

Praxis Tests

Today I am taking TWO praxis tests. Actually in an hour and a half I will begin taking two praxis tests.  I'm not sure why I decided to sign up for two tests on one day but I'm hoping I made the right choice. I have heard mixed things about the test.. don't study, they are easy, they are hard, buy all the study books, etc. I am hoping I chose the right advice to follow. This week is my fall break so I am glad to have a day I was able to dedicate to test taking. Please pray it goes well! Even though the test are taken on a computer I will not know my scores immediately. There are essay questions so the grading takes a few weeks. Wish me luck!!

Helloooo bloggers!

      This just so happens to be my very first post. I did try this whole blogging thing before but it wasn't the right time and I failed miserably. This time I am going to make much more of an effort. This time I also have MUCH more to blog about! I am engaged to my best friend Zachary Holcomb. He is super attractive, super funny, and super perfect for me. I CANT wait for our wedding day! May 11, 2013 is our official date. You will be hearing a lot about the big and little details of our soon to be  perfect day. I also will be sharing our adventures and any other thought I feel the need to express.
